Fonterra Director Resigns

Fonterra Cooperative Group Chairman John Roadley today announced that Mike Smith has decided to step down as a director of Fonterra with effect from 31 January, 2002.

“As a director of Fonterra and previously as a director of New Zealand Dairy Group, Mike has had a signifcant role to play in bringing the three legacy companies together and overcoming the difficulties involved in make our merger a reality,” Mr Roadley said.
