ASB Bank Tops The Big Five Banks Once Again

For the fifth consecutive year, ASB BANK is delighted it has been identified as the overall leading bank for customer satisfaction of the five major banks in the annual banking survey by the University of Auckland’s Business School.

The Bank is also the leader in Business Banking customer satisfaction for the third year in a row.

The survey confirms that ASB BANK retains its position of the having the highest number of satisfied and very satisfied customers of the five major banks, with 82%. In the competitive Business Banking market, the survey identifies ASB BANK as the clear leader, with 84% of its business banking customers satisfied and 50% ‘very satisfied’.

ASB BANK Head of Retail Banking and Marketing, Barbara Chapman, says results are reflective of the hard work staff put in.

“Achieving the number one position for the fifth consecutive year demonstrates our ability to build on consistently high levels of performance. We have achieved this by continuing to focus our core efforts on delivering exceptional customer service across all banking channels. By aiming for the highest standards we have retained customer loyalty, and sustained customer satisfaction

“The results in the business banking market are particularly pleasing. 50% of businesses that bank with us say they are very satisfied with the service and the products we offer. This is 24% ahead of any other bank, which is an outstanding result. This year ASB BANK has demonstrated incredibly strong growth. It is rewarding for those who have contributed to that growth to see these results.”
