Celebrities at the party hotspots of Hollywood and London are continuing their love affair with New Zealand's own 42 BELOW vodka.

42 BELOW was selected as the exclusive pour at an outdoor gala to celebrate the Emmys where guests included Jennifer Love Hewitt, Tori Spelling and Rod Stewart's daughter Kimberly Stewart.

In London 42 BELOW was selected over five other vodka's to be the exclusive vodka at the 18th birthday party for Elle Magazine, which was staged as part of London Fashion Week.

42 BELOW created a special Elle Eightini for the party as well as a number of other drinks. Invited guests included all the super models that have featured on the cover of the magazine ? Claudia Schiffer, Elle McPherson, Naomi Campbell and Heather Graham.

Geoff Ross, Chief Vodka Bloke at 42 BELOW says the Elle party was held at a new bar called Millennium, which had now chosen 42 BELOW as its "house pour."

"The party was right next door to the showing by New Zealand fashion designer Zambesi, where we were also serving the cocktails, so there's pretty much a feeling that the Kiwis have landed in London."

"The event was London Fashion Week's hottest party and it's given us huge exposure to a lot of people like fashion designers, models, music, TV and film producers and agents as well as to London's major bar owners."

He said the December issue of Elle would be featuring 42 BELOW and the special recipes that had been created for the event.

"As well as the Elle-Eightini the special cocktails we created included Passion Victim, Cover Girl and Stiletto, so Londoners have had a great invitation to our passion fruit flavoured vodka as well."

Guest included Jamie Oliver's wife, Brian from big brother, Jemma Kid and Chick from Mystic, as well as 200 models. At the street entrance to the party they had models dancing in a glass cage hanging from a crane, a spoof on David Blain who is in glass cage hanging by London Bridge trying to last for 44 days.

42 BELOW's overseas marketing is conducted through its own Vodka Ambassadors and through supporters such as supermodel Kylie Bax and NBA basketballer Sean Marks.

New Zealand fashion designed Karen Walker, currently in London for Fashion Week, and yachtsman Grant Dalton have recently been appointed directors of the company.
