Media Committee Elected

The Communication Agencies Association (CAANZ) has elected a new Media Committee for 2004.

The Committee is made up of senior Media Directors from communication agencies and is the organisation’s specialist advisor on issues relating to the media industry.

It will work closely with all major media owners, advertisers and research providers to provide a valuable link between agencies and media organisations.

CAANZ Agency Principals and Media Directors elected the new Committee from a group of nominees and the Executive Board ratified the results.

The members of the Media Committee are as follows:

* Alistair Jamison: Saatchi & Saatchi
* Anna Chitty: FCB
* Derek Lindsay: sparkmedia
* Graeme Hunter: Hunter Media
* Jan Clark: Colenso
* Kath Watson: DDB
* Nigel Keats: Clemenger BBDO

The new Committee will meet early March to vote in a Chairperson and Deputy.

CAANZ would like to thank the preceding Media Committee for its significant contribution, particularly former Chairman – Peter Myles (Colenso) and Deputy - Mike Howard from Carat.
