NZ’s Most Politically Incorrect Comedian

NZ’s Most Politically Incorrect Comedian
Brendhan Lovegrove

March 29th, Selbys, Serlby Place, Porirua

So politically incorrect they tried to ban him from performing at Otago University.

After Brendhan Lovegrove performed during Otago University’s 20001 Orientation, he was found to be so politically incorrect that several complaints were laid requesting that he never be allowed to perform at the University again. We thought this was an excellent reason to bring him to Wellington for Selbys’ 1st Birthday Celebrations.

A veteran of numerous international festivals including Sydney, Edinburgh, and Canada, and a star of the award winning TV show Pulp Comedy, having featured in every series ever produced, Lovegrove achieved genuine national recognition when he won
New Zeland’s Billy T award in 1998.

While Mike King has just finished recording his sixth and final series of Pulp Comedy the TV Show, and is in the midst of a sell-out national tour, if you ask Mike King who the best live comedian in the country is, he says “Brendhan Lovegrove”.

Brendhan Lovegrove comes to Wellington for just one night.
Thursday March 29th, 8pm

“Slick as hell with superb audience rapport…brilliantly twisted.”
