Supercomputer Weather: When The Rain Comes

The above image from the NOAA weather supercomputer shows a forecast for a few drops of rain to falling on parched central areas of the country tomorrow (Wednesday) evening. Rain is shown in the picture in the coloured lines with each line representing 1mm of rain. Unfortunately the showers are not forecast to bring sufficient rain to make much difference to the high level fire alerts presently in force throughout Marlborough, Nelson and Wellington. That said, every drop helps.
