Scoop S.O.S. Feedback: Angelic Encouragement

Yet more Scoop feedback…

to SCOOP AUDIENCE,

I write as an Angelic Sustaining Subscriber (yoh!) and want to endorse the notion of simply giving money to Scoop as a contribution to open democracy in New Zealand. Scoop is an important part of my life and business, I have many staff who use Scoop often several times a day, we pay $200 per month for email services (cheap), buy advertising (very effective for community building, exposure, awareness, influence), send Scoop material for publishing (very helpful thanks)...we have funded special projects...

I work in the corporate sector where real revenue is earned and am very happy to reciprocate Scoop's initiative by giving back. People and organisations who use Scoop should contribute. The Web is embryonic, traditional revenue models are immature; corporates are generally clueless when it comes to using the web, they pontificate over small budget promotions, angst over committing a few bucks, advertising agencies are often just as clueless about the web and wait for some traditional media metric to pop up into their tarp-screen before being confident about committing a toe in the water...

SCOOP is cool, being associated with Scoop (optimistic, raffish, open source) makes you connected to a really interesting ecosystem of nz society and decision-making...

I hope that my message will unlock the chastity belts of your heavy-users and that they may be encouraged to put their money (small bucks really) where their mouses are and subscribe, sustain, donate and get into the groove.

SCOOP is a brilliant exposition of an original idea, I trust the Scoop team and love what they do.

Open your wallets like I have, mandarins, apparatchiks, activists, raiders, moguls, boffins, hounds and eagles.
