Brazilian Grand Prix - Or Schumacher Grand Prix?

Not to be confused by the results, the Brazilian Grand Prix could have easily belonged to the younger Schumacher.

Debuting the F2002, Michael Schumacher has yet again shown that the correct combination of man, machine and tyres, will give results. However, for the BMW-Williams team, being half a second behind the brand new Ferrari was just reward for what the world's critics tipped as being unbeatable.

The cat and mouse game has now just become personal, as the two brothers battle for supremacy.

While there is no doubting the fine track record set by the older Schumacher, Schumacher junior is not letting family values dictate the potential of his career.

With a win-a-piece this season, the Schumacher family are destined to become one of the highest profile motorsport commodities of modern day.

A tangle early on in the race with pole sitter Juan Pablo Montoya gave Michael Schumacher an early fright that his debut in the car was about to come undone. Instead it was the BMW Williams driver who fell by the wayside, leaving the way clear for his teammate to move in to the challenging position.

David Coulthard's third in the McLaren was less of a battle as the two Schumacher's streaked to nearly a minute lead on the final podium placegetter.

Continued success by the Renault team has seen their return to Formula 1 racing rewarded with a 4th, ahead of Juan Pablo Montoya and Toyota's Mika Salo - just outside the points haul.

Success is coming in steady doses for the first time Toyota team, with all three of this year's events giving them a placing well inside the top 10.

Leaving Brazil to clean up the debris left on the track by the drivers, they now move to San Marino, on April 14th.
