Scoop Images: Winter Snows Fall In Ohau

More images of the environs of the most photogenic mountain village in the world taken by Norman Mackay .

Norman writes: “Winter reached us here at Lake Ohau. We woke up this morning to 9 cm of fresh snow, and an outside air temperature of 0 degrees. The snow came after a week of heavy rains, which have dumped about 80mm of rain in the last eight days. I believe the forecast is for more rain and snow in a couple of days.”
