HARD NEWS 28/02/03 - Very Busy

Hi folks,

I thought I'd better get out a post to the list before the week expired. I haven't had the time to blog much this week: my partner strained her back so badly on Friday night that she couldn't walk unaided for two days, and I, as luck would have it, also had a lot of work on.

Big ups to the British Council, the Music Industry Commission and Mai FM for organising the Resonate music and video seminar this week. I chaired the first day, with Brent Hansen, Pete Chambers and Liz Kessler, and it was a successful and satisfying experience. We later took the Brits out for a night on the town (actually, on Ponsonby Road) and that was successful and satisfying in a different, but no less valid, way.

Anyway, the results of the Hard News Faith Challenge 2003 really are coming soon, and so is that Vint Cerf transcript (the story is in the coming week's Listener). But not today. Today I am allowing someone to buy me lunch and then I am watching the Blues beat the Chiefs. Go Carlos! Nice.
