Go get' em at the conference!
a review of ''Confronting the evidence'' at the Grand Ballroom, New York

From my perspective, there were two conferences. First half is a complete and total failure to seriously consider the possibility that 911 was made to happen by the Bush Regime. It is so completely infiltrated, with guests who are deliberately moving the conversation into limited hangout areas. A woman in the audience that I was speaking with walks out in horror. Nico gets to a microphone and denounces (very passionately) the additions to the panel and the additional emcee. As the end of the first half comes I think the event is a total failure. The conference broke for ten or fifteen minutes.

After the break a new conference was born. Christopher Bollyn fills time while Plague Pup and organizers struggle getting Pup's power point presentation together...

Bollyn does a very good job introducing key elements of the WTC demolitions. It is a very good tone he sets because of all the LIHOP crap that the previous panelists had given us.

Plague Puppy delivers a devastating critique of the official story of the collapses. This is when Webster speaks (I think; can't recall the order at this time). Webster is nothing short of damn incredible with his analyses which involves interpreting and finding patterns in news stories. Then Dave vonKleist appears and brings down the house with his introduction to "In Plane Site". He's very charismatic in person.

So far I have tremendous admiration for Dave vonK. I spoke to him during the recess and explained that I have differences with his visual analyses of the WTC. He doesn't react defensively. He doesn't say that I'm wrong that the planes were CGI. He simply says that the important thing is that people review the visual documentation. He's absolutely right. In his speech he draws gasps from the crowd (of about 800 at this time) when he says that it is unknown exactly what hit the Towers. He affirms the only credible view that no passenger jets collided with the WTC.

Barry Zwicker speaks last. Nice remarks. However, the Bollyn-Plague Pup-Tarpley-Dave vonKleist combination is so mesmerizing that Zwicker's comments about Pearl Harbor and the Gulf of Tonkin do not have the impact they ordinarily might have.

God knows why that disinfo agent (John Trabos?) from the Bureau of Atomic Scientists is on the panel. Towards the end he launches into essentially a filibuster on behalf of the official story. Finally, emcee Ed Begley Jr. gets him to shut up. But the crowd would've probably lynched him if he had spoken for five or ten more minutes.

In general the crowd was very vocal. The entire evening people were shouting stuff at the panel. They were very upset with the first conference; i.e., all the 911Truth.org LIHOP bullshit that made up the first half. Towards the end of the night several participants in the crowd were losing it; they were simply shouting really disconnected ideas at the panel and complaining that they were being silenced.

The emotions in the room were very powerful all evening long. It took over four hours but this conference made a huge difference.

Congrats to Nico, Webster, Plague Puppy, Christopher Bollyn, Tom and Alex (9/11 Science and Justice Alliance) and Dave vonKleist for putting on such a powerful event.

Scott
