Libertarianz Party: Education

Nanny's compulsory sex education destroys parental responsibility

Libertarianz Spokesman for deregulation of education, Warrick Brown, is stunned by this latest attack on parental responsibility and freedom. "Trevor Mallard has no business introducing compulsory sex education for New Zealand's primary and secondary school students. This will destroy parental responsibility," says Brown.

"It seems that the government is no longer content merely to molest the minds of New Zealand's children, it must also molest their relationship with their parents," he says. "It won't be long before the government is introducing compulsory child-rearing training, and thence remove all responsibility from parents in toto," he added.

"New Zealand's parents must vehemently oppose this state control and manipulation," says Brown, "and wrestle back control of their own children. They must demand a complete separation of school and state - before it is too late!"
