The discovery of a two-headed snake in Spain, as reported by the BOP Times on Thursday comes as no surprise for Winston Peters, because New Zealand has its own version right in Wigram.

“Like the two headed snake in Spain, We in New Zealand also have some questions: ‘Does one head boss the other around and will the creature ever find a mate?’

“Like the two headed snake in Spain, this two headed snake also fights over food with its other head.

“The twisted logic being displayed by the former Alliance Leader is becoming more and more bizarre, and belongs in the annuls of Ripley’s believe it or not.

“We have been looking at Jim’s utterings before the last election and we have found at least 41 different occasions on which he criticized other parties and MPs for leaving their parties and bringing Parliament into disrepute. Yet now that he jumps parties we are all expected to forget that he turned this into a personal crusade.

“It is like a classical Greek tragedy—the very same person who previously ranted and railed against party hopping has now become the very person that he would have attacked before.
