Rising Number Of Strikes Causes Concern

The doubling of the number of work stoppages last year, is a matter of concern, ACT leader Richard Prebble says.

"Even more concerning is trend. This upward trend was predicted by ACT, and that most of the strikes would be in the public sector.

"With ongoing strikes in secondary schools and hospitals, the number of work stoppages this year is likely to double again," Mr Prebble said.
