1. Hon BILL ENGLISH to the Prime Minister: Has she met with the Local Government Forum to discuss their concerns that the Local Government Bill is "clearly negative for growth", as they requested on 22 October 2002; if not, why not?

2. DAVID CUNLIFFE to the Minister of Finance: What recent reports has he received on the state of the New Zealand economy?

3. Rt Hon WINSTON PETERS to the Minister of Immigration: Have marriages of convenience, of a nature similar to those allegedly used by students to gain financial advantage, been used by individuals wishing to obtain residence in New Zealand; if so, how many?

4. LARRY BALDOCK to the Minister of Transport: Is the Government fully committed to the New Zealand Transport Strategy vision that "by 2010 New Zealand will have an affordable, integrated, safe, responsive and sustainable transport system"?

5. Hon MURRAY McCULLY to the Prime Minister: Will she give an absolute assurance that neither she nor her chief of staff, Heather Simpson, were briefed by the former Race Relations Conciliator, Mr Gregory Fortuin, in relation to his attempts to mediate between the different factions of the Alliance; if not, why not?
