Act risks losing all credibility if it uses the Electoral Integrity Act to expel Donna Awatere Huata from Parliament, says Green Co-Leader Rod Donald.

"Act can't afford to resort to legislation it strongly opposed in the first place to get rid of Donna," he said.

"Act will have to find other ways to deal with its internal problems and the inherent contradictions they expose.

"Meanwhile we await with interest, as does the rest of the country, for the Auditor General's report on the accusations of fraud that have been made against the Act MP."
