Marae Gang Stand Off A Disgrace

New Zealand First Law and Order spokesman Ron Mark has labeled the stand off by Police at the Katihiku marae in Otaki as one of the most shameful indulgences yet of gang intimidation and hell raising.

“What on earth have we come to when police are prepared to tolerate shooting and the terrorising of innocent people going about their lawful business? When will the Police Minister instruct the Commissioner to deal to gangs once and for all, or has he lost his courage and given in to his politically correct hand-wringing leadership?, “ said Mr Mark.

“Gangs don’t deserve the freedom they are given and the individuals involved in this latest incident don’t deserve the kid glove treatment at that marae either. Why don’t the police simply go in and gas these criminals. Police should also take staff from the various social agencies with them to see at first hand the results of handing out sickness benefits, dole payments, and invalid benefits or ACC assistance to the pathetic and antisocial characters who are nothing but professional bludgers.

“These nutters love publicity and spreading terror and the police should be moving against them on all fronts. The stand off is a disgrace and a wake up call for a government that has lost its way,” said Mr Mark.
