Brash appoints Communications manager
National appoints Communications manager
National Party Leader, Don Brash, has today announced the appointment of Peter Keenan as Manager, Communications.
"This appointment brings considerable experience to our team in Parliament and I am delighted that Peter can start work immediately," says Dr Brash.
Mr Keenan, an economist, has wide experience in the public and private sectors, and also in economic journalism.
He has worked in the New Zealand Treasury (1980-84), the New Zealand Institute of Economic Research (1984-86) and from 1986 until 2000 with one of New Zealand's leading investment bank and stock broking firms, First NZ Capital.
His roles there included Chief Economist, head of Research and Managing Director, Sales & Trading. He left FNZC at the end of 2000 to take time out to travel and pursue a variety of business interests.

National's Parliamentary team on Monday. (17 Nov).
