Don ''Neville Chamberlain'' Brash please speak up

Will Don ''Neville Chamberlain'' Brash please speak up

Progressive MP Matt Robson wants to know whether the latest leader of the National Party will speak up for new New Zealanders? Or will he continue to be deaf and dumb as immigrants are verbally abused by his potential coalition partner NZ First.

“In an absurd taxpayer funded leaflet, NZ First falsely claims hundreds of thousands of Third World immigrants are flooding New Zealand.

"NZ First continues to say it could enter a coalition with a Don Brash-led National Party, so we all want to hear loud and clear what National’s leader has to say about immigration.

“Dr Brash’s deafening silence this week echoes the spinelessness of Neville Chamberlain who failed to stand up to racism at a terrible eventual cost to Britain.

"If Dr Brash was a real leader, he would make a plain statement that inflammatory racial baiting would not be tolerated in any government he was part of.

“Does Don Brash still want Winston Peters in his coalition after all that we’ve heard from NZ First this week,?” said Matt Robson.

On Monday, I said I was sure all parties would condemn NZ First’s unseasonal attack on immigrants. So far, National’s leader is the only one to remain silent.
