Brash honours tsunami victims

National Party Leader Don Brash today extended his condolences to all those touched by the Boxing Day tsunami tragedy.

His comments come on the National Day of Remembrance for the victims of the tragedy.

“The sheer scale of the Boxing Day disaster is unlike anything we have ever seen and the effect of the devastation will be long-lasting,” says Dr Brash.

“On behalf of the National Party, I wish to extend our deepest and most sincere condolences to those New Zealanders and those of other nations affected by the tragedy, and especially those who continue to wait for news of their loved ones.”
