Dover Samuels Inquiry Complete

In a statement released today Commissioner Rob Robinson said there was insufficient evidence to charge Dover Samuels on the outstanding allegation of sexual intercourse with a woman under 20 under that person’s care or protection.

The Commissioner said the police do not intend to take the matter further unless fresh information comes to hand. The police inquiry into a number of allegations concerning Mr Dover Samuels MP has now been completed.

Police earlier dealt with the allegations of rape and announced they are taking no further action unless fresh information comes to hand. In relation to the issue of having sexual intercourse with a girl under 16 years and some other miscellaneous matters, the allegations were unfounded.
