Libz Agree with Nandor Shock

PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Libz Agree with Nandor Shock

In a surprise announcement today, Libertarianz leader Peter Cresswell said he agreed with Nandor Tanczos' challenge to ACT to follow its stated principles and endorse the legalisation of cannabis.

"With Act being founded on a strong platform of individual freedom and personal responsibility, as well as the 'values not politics' slogan, the position of the Act MPs on the issue of cannabis will be a real test for the party," said Tanczos. "Indeed it will," agrees Cresswell, who says he has "no expectations of either ACT or Tanczos' Greens following the consistency of the Libertarianz party who uphold an individual's right to choose his recreational pleasures, with the concomitant to take responsibility for those choices."

"What really astounds me though," says Cresswell, "is the inconsistency of Tanczos himself, whose Green Party is happy to promote authoritarian restrictions on the personal and economic freedom of New Zealanders, while claiming to support individual freedom."

"Perhaps he should sort out his own inconsistencies first," concludes Cresswell.
