Fantasy Hot Off The Press

The Young Labour 2002 Fantasy calendar is available for sale and delivery, Young Labour Vice-President Leila Boyle announced today.

Young Labour activists began working on the Fantasy calendar venture several months ago. The 2002 calendar features Labour Members of Parliament portrayed as their fantasy role or character or representing their culture.

Leila Boyle said that many hours of creative effort have gone into producing the calendar, which went to print last week and was packaged by Young Labour activists over the weekend.

"Our hard work over the last few months is justified by the results. The quality of the finished product has exceeded all our expectations. There is no doubt this calendar will be a collector's item in years to come."

Calendar buyers who have pre-ordered can expect their calendars to arrive with New Zealand Post over the coming week. Shoppers will have a chance to purchase calendars in person this week when Young Labour activists visit Parliament.

"We know that the calendar has been the buzz around Parliament", said Leila Boyle. "We wanted to give staff and visitors to Parliament the opportunity to buy the calendar hot off the press."

Calendars will be on sale at Parliament today. They will also be on sale at the Labour Party's Annual Conference in the first weekend of December and can be purchased by mail order using the form available at http://younglabour.org.nz/.
