ACTivists Appoint Campaign Manager

Political youth group ACTivists has appointed a campaign manager in the leadup to this year’s election.

Clint Heine, past president of ACTivists and a current spokesman for Student Choice, has been unanimously elected to the position by ACTivists’ executive Caucus.

“Clint has a wealth of experience, ranging from campaigns for voluntary student union membership to election campaigning and a long involvement in Otago student politics” said ACTivists President, Gavin Middleton.

“Mr Heine runs campaigns with flair and attitude. This year’s election campaign will involve both humour and information to point out the benefits of personal freedom to young New Zealanders” Mr Middleton said.

Clint Heine said “young people see through Government spin and realise that every day the Labour/Alliance/Green government is taking more of our personal and economic freedom. Young people want to be in control of their own lives, and we have a huge team of people who want to get involved in the campaign.”

Mr Heine said he plans to work with everyone interested in achieving a centre-right victory, and especially looks forward to liasing with the ACT team.
