ACT running "new style" campaign

Richard Prebble’s decision not to stand for Wellington Central shows that ACT will run a new style of campaign focusing exclusively on the list vote, according to the Wellington President of ACTivists, Lucas Nagorcka.

“While it’s always fun to campaign alongside the ACT leader, we know that Richard will be effective in every electorate, and don’t mind sharing him with our other branches” Mr Nagorcka said.

“ACTivists understand that ACT will stand a candidate in Wellington Central, and we will wholeheartedly support any candidate who stands for individual liberty, the freedom of choice and personal responsibility.”

Mr Nagorcka said that ACTivists would run a vigorous alternative campaign to win ACT party votes from young New Zealanders.
