Until now, furniture manufacture has lagged behind other industries in terms of sustainability and Œgreen¹ standards. But all this is about to change - and the place at the forefront of the green furniture revolution, as Peter McCaig discovered, is Tuscany.

RUMI NATIONS

Katya Langmuur ponders the rise and rise in the popularity of a thirteenth century poet from the other side of the world who is taking the modern West by storm.
