May Day is Jay Day in more than 200 cities around the world!

NORML, the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party and the International Cannabis Coalition present International J Day, this year on Saturday 1 May - May Day! - in over 200 cities around the world.

NZ Event Guide for International J Day, Saturday 1 May 2004:

Auckland: May Day march Join NORML in the traditional May Day march, leaving QEII square (bottom of Queen St) at 2pm, arriving at Albert Park around 3pm. Bring a banner, and wear your favourite marijuana T shirt. Make some noise in support of cannabis law reform. A 4:20 dakmob location will be revealed on the day!

Napier: Marine Parade At the soundshell from High Noon to 4:20, with bands the Upliftas, the Noble Peasants, Dead Heroes Collective, Sneaky Weasel Gang, Elevation, Amygdala, Voodoo Butta, Department of Corruption, and Subhuman.

Levin: Kimerley Reserve from High Noon

Wellington: Aro Valley Park High Noon to 4:20 with DJs Jules, Gee and Shaun Lane with more acts to be confirmed, plus guest speakers, stalls, games and more. An after party will be announced on the day.

Christchurch: Cathedral Square High Noon to 4:20

Dunedin: The Octagon High Noon to 4:20
