UPDATE: New Zealand troops in Basrah

NZ Troops are safe and remain in Fortress Lines and will stay there today (Sunday). Defence spokesperson Lieutenant Commander Andrew Lincoln says, all NZ Troops are reported safe and well and remain in Base (Fortress Lines). It is likely that they will remain there today while British forces carry out operations as a result of clashes between militia and coalition forces yesterday.
