Waitakere Free Spirit Peace Events Team Reminder

Dear Friends of Free Spirit Peace Events Team ~

JUST A REMINDER We hope that you will attend this significant Peace Concert which represents one of the most important breakthroughs in New Zealand collective cultural consciousness.

We are remembering Hiroshima Day by reaffirming Nuclear Free New Zealand as one of the most helpful contributions towards greater global security.

This is a historical celebration of our West Auckland Peace Group work over 20 years ago to achieve the local Nuclear Free Zone which contributed to the unified national policy.

We realise that justice and compassion for the oppressed is the essential foundation for peace and thus we are working to provide support for some who are suffering ie.Palestine Children's Welfare Fund.

We also understand that in order to reduce violence, militarism and war we must actively work to create cultural awareness and experiences that better cultivate and reflect our values of peace and justice in the context of 'entertainment'.

Thus, we offer an excellent evening of beautiful music, song and dance which showcases some of our interesting performing artists from a variety of cultures and styles that help us develop this insight.

PLEASE COME & SUPPORT OUR PEACEWORK.
