The Dawn of a Peoples Republic of New Zealand

The Dawn of a Peoples Republic of New Zealand

Plans are afoot to structure a Peoples Republic Party which would seek a mandate from the electorate to cut ties with the monarchy. The party has applied to the Electoral Commission to register as a political party.

The cardinal principle of this party is to replace the Treaty of Waitangi with the republican constitution, encompassing all aspects of government and the sovereignty of this nation.

The party is founded by John Kairau, who has taken on the role of custodian until such time as a formal leader is chosen by a consensus of its membership.

Mr. Kairau says that the party’s constitution is committed to the transfer of all property and political empowerment controlled by the British Monarchy to the citizens of the People’s Republic of New Zealand. This in-turn, will abolish all ethnically identified government and semi government agencies such as Te Puni Kokiri, and eliminate the Maori Electoral roll as well as representation in parliament by Maori members.

Mr. Kairau would be pleased to receive all inquiries of interest. Please call: 025 627 7038.

Yours faithfully

John Kairau
