Anti-Civil Union group need some Milk

Anti-Civil Union group need some Milk, Cookies and a Nap.

Gay Eaters For Jesus today called for the Campaign Against Civil Unions to take a moment, have a bit of a snack and a lie down, in order to stem the vitriol the group has been showing over the last few days.

“We’ve noticed that the Campaign Against Civil Unions have been having a few tantrums lately”, said Xavier Goldie, facilitator for Gay Eaters For Jesus, referring to the numerous press releases produced by the group. “It’s desperate really – this close to the end of the debate and the spokesperson for the Campaign Against Civil Unions, Garnet Milne, is finally realising fair-minded Kiwis are not interested in what he has to say”, he added.

“Maybe what Mr Milne really needs is to have a big plate of Milk and Cookies, and then a bit of an afternoon nap. Everyone feels better after cookies and a nap!” Mr Goldie said. “All this talk about paganism, the homosexual agenda, sodomy and neo-fascism really does remind us of children throwing their toys from the cot when they realise they’re not going to get their way”. Mr Goldie added that tantrums were a sure sign that someone just needed a bit of a snack and a snooze.

Gay Eaters for Jesus is a national group set up in response to the Anti-Civil Unions fasting pastors Trim and Adams. Mr Goldie added that even though Mr Trim and Mr Adams had been fasting for well over a week, they were still displaying better manners than Mr Milne and others at the Campaign Against Civil Unions. “It’s quite shocking. We think that perhaps Mr Milne wasn’t taught very good manners, or maybe spoilt as a child. We’d certainly like to applaud the good behaviour of Mr Trim and Mr Adams over their fast, and we hope that their first meal back was worth the effort”.
