Norton SystemWorks for Macintosh
Norton SystemWorks for Macintosh includes Norton AntiVirus for Macintosh 7.0, Norton Utilities for Macintosh 6.0 and LiveUpdate 1.6, an Internet-based solution that automatically downloads product patches and updated virus definitions. Also included in Norton SystemWorks for Macintosh is Dantz Retrospect Express v4.0.3 and Aladdin Spring Cleaning v3.5.
Norton AntiVirus for Macintosh 7.0 protects users by automatically scanning emails at all points of entry and updating virus protection via the Internet. A new feature included in version 7.0 is the ability to automatically perform repairs as needed. Norton Utilities for Macintosh benefits users with disk repair, optimisation and data recovery capabilities. New features of version 6.0 include the ability to scavenge and rebuild directories for improved data recovery and custom Speed Disk optimisation profiles, which allows users to arrange the data on their hard drive to suit their specific needs.

Norton AntiVirus for Macintosh and Norton Utilities for Macintosh can both be used to analyse and repair Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X disks.

Aladdin Spring Cleaning 3.5 frees up space on a user’s hard drive by safely and completely uninstalling old programs and their related files, without deleting anything the user needs. Spring Cleaning enables users to get rid of outdated applications, extensions, preferences, fonts, aliases and other files and also allows users to remove the clutter left over from Internet sessions, including cache files, cookies and history logs.

Dantz Retrospect Express enables users to copy files quickly and easily to a wide range of removable media, including CD-R, CD-R/RW, Zip, Jaz, SuperDisk, magneto-optical and DVD devices. Users can also back-up to a secure site over the Internet and with the EasyScript wizard, users can schedule automatic, unattended backups.
