IT Trio Unites As Infinity Solutions To 'Take On New Zealand IT Industry'

Infinity Solutions, a new brand in the IT services, software and business enablement field, will be launched tomorrow (Monday 4 December). Infinity Solutions represents the joining of Infinity Group companies Trilogy Business Systems, Madison Systems and Comtex Group.

Infinity Solutions, with over 430 staff nationwide, is one of New Zealand's largest IT outsourcing companies. It provides a comprehensive range of information technology, human resource and assets management services, designed to enable businesses to focus on their core functions. Services include business and IT consulting and project management, software development, training and support services and e-commerce development. Infinity Solutions also offers outsourcing of HR functions, from payroll to strategic HR, sales and support for a wide range of hardware products and asset and property management consulting. It has strong relationships with leading IT providers including IBM, Compaq, Microsoft, Rational, Novell and Software AG.

Murray McCaw, previously managing director of Comtex, is chief executive officer of Infinity Solutions. He says the new business, the largest in Infinity Group, will offer customers "best-of-breed" business solutions, through the combined strengths of the three consistently high performing companies and their world class business partners.

Mr McCaw says Infinity Solutions intends to build on the capabilities of the three companies, which share substantial marketplace credibility and strong cashflows.

Infinity Solutions Management Team Murray McCaw, Chief Executive, Infinity Solutions, Formerly Managing Director of Comtex, Murray is a well-respected business leader and strategist. He has 16 years' experience at senior management and chief executive level, including roles as Managing Director of Colmar Brunton and General Manager of Energy Power NZ. He is Chairman of the New Zealand Rugby Football Union and, until September 2000, was Chairman of Totally Wellington.
