Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Ivanov Speaks by Telephone to Ministers for Foreign Affairs Dominique de Villepin of France and Joschka Fischer of Germany

On March 3 Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Igor Ivanov had telephone conversations with Ministers for Foreign Affairs Dominique de Villepin of France and Joschka Fischer of Germany.

Discussions centered on current developments around Iraq. The heads of the foreign affairs agencies reaffirmed their invariable adherence to politico-diplomatic methods of resolving the crisis, and exchanged views in relation to preparations for the upcoming United Nations Security Council meeting on Iraq to be held on March 7.
