An Israeli Undercover Unit Assassinates One Palestinian, Tens of School Children Wounded, Lands Razed

TULKAREM — An Israeli undercover commando shot dead Thursday night a Palestinain civilian in the West Bank city of Tulkarem.

Ibrahim Aref Alnaghiesh, 25, of Tulkarem refugee camp, was shot dead yesterday after a contingent of an Israeli undercover troop stormed the camp.

Palestinain medical sources confirmed the death of Naghiesh and the injury of the 17-years old teen boy Moa’th Fouad Alhabl, with Israeli live bullets in his feet.

Local Palestinian sources told IPC correspondent that an Israeli undercover unit stormed the Tulkarem refugee camp under a barrage of heavy gunfire, attempting on the life of Naghies, causing his fatal death and injury of local inhabitant Alhabl, 17 years old.

Extrajudicial killings carried out by the Israeli occupation forces have been almost non-stopping since the outbreak of Al-Aqsa Intifada on September 2000. So far, hundreds of Palestinians have been assassinated by the Israeli occupation forces.

In the meantime, tens of Palestinian school children of the Fatimiya Elementary school, in the West Bank city of Nablus, were reportedly wounded as they had inhaled tear gas fired by the Israeli occupation forces on the school.

WAFA News Agency reported that several little school girls were vacated to the local hospitals in Nablus as scores were aided on the spot by a number of paramedics.

Meanwhile, a number of Israeli F16 jetfighters hovered yesterday over Nablus city as other Israeli occupation troops incurred into several neighborhoods.

In the Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis, Israeli troops, accompanied by bulldozers, incurred yesterday into the Al-delta and Alsatar Algharby neighborhood and began razing vast areas of Palestinian-owned lands in the Satar Algharby (west partition).

Eyewitnesses said that an Israeli contingent, including several tanks, armored vehicles and bulldozers, coming out of the nearby illegitimate Jewish settlement, advanced towards the Alsatar Algharby neighborhood, under an indiscriminate heavy gunfire.

The witnesses added that the Israeli troops bulldozed vast areas of Palestinain lands owned to both local Palestinain inhabitants Khadra Al-Astal and Ziad Abdulghafour.

Abdulghafour told WAFA correspondent that the Israeli bulldozers also razed a number of green houses in his land.
