Israel Kills Three - a Child and a Senior Citizen

IOF Kills Three - a Child and a Senior Citizen

JENIN - Three Palestinian citizens died yesterday of wounds they sustained during different invasions of the Israeli occupying forces (IOF) throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

In Nablus City, Palestinian medical sources declared Sunday that a Palestinian child from Jenin refugee camp died today of wounds he sustained during an IOF invasion of the camp last Saturday.

12-year old Ahmad Mar'ei was shot with several live bullets all over his body when IOF tanks and military vehicles overran the refugee camp last Saturday. He was transferred to Rafidia hospital in Nablus for better care, where his condition remained very critical until he was pronounced dead Sunday afternoon.

Another child was wounded with Mar'ei in the same invasion. Layth Sobeh, 14, was also shot with several bullets, which concentrated mainly in his lungs. His condition remained critical despite receiving 11 blood units, according to doctors at the hospital.

Meanwhile, another Palestinian citizen was also pronounced dead yesterday afternoon of wounds he sustained after being shot by IOF.

Hospital officials at Al Matla'a hospital in Nablus City said that Samer Abu Asab, 21, died Sunday of wounds he sustained after being shot by the occupation forces invading Balata refugee camp a week ago.

The sources added that Abu Asab was shot in the thigh, and that the bullet cut his main arteries, which led to severe hemorrhage. His condition was described then as critical, and continued to be so until he died yesterday afternoon.

In the Gaza Strip, an elderly citizens also died yesterday of wounds sustained by live IOF gunfire in the city of Khan Younis.

Palestinian medical sources at Nasser hospital confirmed that Sobhi Shrair, 62, died Sunday evening of wounds he sustained when IOF troops opened fire at him while he was heading for his farm on October 26, wounding him critically.

Hospital officials added that due to his old age, Shrair was not able to recover from his critical wounds, a thing that deteriorated his condition, until his death yesterday.

In the middle of Gaza Strip, Israeli military bulldozers backed by several tanks invaded Palestinian areas around the illegitimate Jewish settlement of "Nitzarim". The bulldozers razed some Palestinian lands while tanks fired random fire to scare off the Palestinian farmers and owners of the lands.

Eyewitnesses and farmers told Palestine News Agency (WAFA) that the Israeli forces were bulldozing lands in order to construct a military post there, from which they can overlook the main seaside highway, connecting northern and southern Gaza Strip.

The Israeli military movement around this isolated settlement has increased and became more aggressive lately after the Israeli military command issued orders allowing IOF troops at "Nitzarim" to shoot any Palestinian citizen in the perimeter of the settlement, or carrying any type of "observing" tools.
