Petition to Senator Dayton re. NORAD lies

Press Release

To All Concerned Americans:

Post 9/11 America is a dangerous place, but a Senator has recently given an opportunity for all Americans to encourage Congress to protect the national security of our country.

New York 911Truth is posting a letter from our chairman that will be addressed to Senator Mark Dayton, a Democrat from Minnesota, who recently raised very appropriate questions about NORAD & FAA negligence, and lies, regarding what really happened on 9/11.

NY 9/11 Truth is compiling a petition to encourage Senator Dayton to hold Congressional Hearings on NMCC, FAA & NORAD response on 9/11. As Senator Dayton has correctly brought up, the 9/11 Report fails to explain what really happened through out the chain of command that morning. The report's recommendations are meaningless without accountability as to who failed us and why. Sally Regenhard spoke to just how important accountability is in her recent heart felt testimony to the House of Representatives.

NORAD, the agency whose mandate is to “watch our skies” officially claims it “did not recognize” the threat of hijacked domestic airliners being used as weapons.

This is a complete & total 100% lie.

On April 18, 2004 in an article titled “NORAD had drills of jets as weapons,” USA Today reported a drill planned in July of 2001 and conducted “later” which posed hijacked airliners, originating in the United States, used as weapons to crash into targets ? including the World Trade Center.

The footnote for this statement in the 9/11 report ? chapter 1 #98 ? states that NORAD’s “no recognition” came from an interview with General Ralph Eberhart on March 1, 2004.

I contacted the Staff Communications Director Jonathan Stull and asked for a transcript of the interview referenced in this footnote. He stated the interview was private, attended only by the commission and its staff, and the transcript would be in the National Security Archives with the rest of the 9/11 Commission’s information. A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request is required to obtain this transcript.

The report’s lack of intense scrutiny of NORAD doesn’t end there.

On June 17, 2004, at the final public commission hearing in Washington D.C., I personally asked General Eberhart, the man heading NORAD on 9/11, who was in charge of coordinating the multiple war games running on the morning of the 9/11 attacks. He responded:

This is all included in the petition. On behalf of NY 9/11 Truth, we hope you can pass this on to other 9/11 family members so they may sign on to the petition. Endorsement by the families is critical to get Congressional hearings to actually happen. There is a list of points we are calling for the Congressional hearings to focus on, and you can find them in the petition at the following link
