Free Seminars For Senior Citizens |

Hutt City Council's Community Development Business Unit has joined forces with Age Concern Wellington to provide a free seminar series for senior citizens living in Hutt City. The seminars called "Living Confidently in your Community" will take place at the Horticultural Hall Supper Room on the 22 and 29 June and 6, 13 and 20 July from 9am to 12 noon.
Tanya Winter, Manager of Community Development says "this will be a perfect opportunity for senior citizens in the Hutt community to come together for community support and information sharing. This is part of Council's and Age Concern's commitment to senior residents in the City."
The seminars will cover topics like fire safety, emergency management, first aid, road and traffic safety, neighbourhood and community support and healthy living.
