Greenpeace to show Southern Ocean whaling footage
Greenpeace invites you to join us for a public viewing of Greenpeace footage taken by our crew onboard the MV Arctic Sunrise from the Southern Ocean. This footage is a compilation of what Greenpeace activists have witnessed while dogging the Japanese whaling fleet, which is in the Southern Ocean taking up to 440 minke whales under the guise of 'scientific research'.
Come join us on 23 January from 8:30pm - 10:30pm. Look for our floating video screen onboard the Dolphin Explorer around Princes Wharf and the Viaduct Basin, downtown Auckland.
Greenpeace volunteers will be handing out fliers on how you can help us to ensure that commercial whaling never resumes, the time to act is now.
See you there - Whaling Must Stop!
Commercial whaling could resume as soon as this year! More details here
