Templeton Community Mural In Templeton Domain

Spring has sprung and its time to give Templeton Domain Pavilion and public amenities a spruce up. A new paint job incorporating the winning designs from the Templeton Community Mural competition 'The Four Seasons' will soon grace the Domain buildings.

The 12 designs to be chosen were voted by the Templeton community in August, with the competition open to local children aged between 7 to 13 years old. These winning artists will be painting their designs every weekend throughout November with assistance from their support crews and supervising mural artist, Patrice Aplin.

A launch will be held in December to celebrate the Domains new look. Further information will follow.

This project is funded by the Riccarton/Wigram Community Board, supported by the Templeton Residents Association and co-ordinated by Christchurch City Council Leisure. For further information please phone Jacqui Leask on 941 6537.
