LiveOnline – new 24 / 7 access to your library
Christchurch City Libraries has launched a new service that is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week -- LiveOnline is an interactive session with a librarian live over the internet.
Christchurch City Libraries has joined Answers Now, an international partnership of libraries, including those in Brisbane City, Richmond County in the United States and Somerset County in Britain to bring library users an interactive reference service that can be accessed easily and at any time through the internet.
The service can provide library users with internet connections, answers to questions live online as well as a range of other features depending on the user’s computer capabilities.
To access the service you need to be a member of Christchurch City Libraries, then visit the website http://library.christchurch.org.nz and follow the instructions. All you will need is your membership number and library PIN (personal identification number).
