RAM protests against ARC
This Tuesday & Wednesday
evenings
The majority on the ARC haven't listened to the
Rates Revolt. They've voted for a draft plan that continues
last year's unfair rating policy as their "proposed method"
for the coming year.
So RAM is holding placard protests at
the ARC's first two "consultation" meetings on its draft
plan. Details:
TAKAPUNA 6.30pm Tues 13 April at Takapuna
War Memorial Hall, The Strand.
CENTRAL CITY 6.30pm Wed
14 April at ARC head office, Vodafone House, 21 Pitt St,
Auckland Central.

Yet now with (a) President Barack Obama weighing in on the side of artistic freedom and calling for the US to make a ‘proportionate response’quickly followed by (b) North Korea’s entire Internet service going down, and with both these events being followed by (c) Sony deciding to backtrack and release The Interview film that had made it a target for the dastardly North Koreans in the first place, then ay caramba…the whole world will now be watching how this affair pans out.
