Public presentations proceed on the eastern transport corridor
Auckland City’s Transport Committee will hear 52 presentations on the eastern transport corridor at the extended public forum on Monday 28 June.
“We have said yes to all that have asked to present next week,” says Councillor Greg McKeown, Transport Committee chairperson. “Initially, we had set three hours for the forum but have extended this so we can hear from everybody who asked.”
“This public forum is an important part of the decision making process. Committee members will take the information presented into account when making significant decisions on the eastern transport corridor’s proposed routes on Wednesday,” says Mr McKeown.
The public forum
for the eastern transport corridor will be held in the level
2 reception room, Auckland Town Hall from 9.30am on Monday,
28 June
2004.
