Public meetings on proposed South Waimakariri Area Plan
Proposed plans for the future of the South Waimakariri area will be discussed at two public meetings called by the Christchurch City Council on Monday and Wednesday, 19 and 21July, 2004.
This area is bounded by the Waimakariri River up to the Waimakariri road bridge, down around Coutts Island, the Groynes and along Johns Road to where it meets McLeans Island Road, past Orana Park back to the Waimakariri River.
There will be a short presentation on the area, followed by a question and answer session at the meetings which are to be held on: Monday, 19 July, at 3.30pm in the Harewood Hall, 719 Harewood Road (next to the Playcentre) and, Wednesday, 21 July, at 7.30pm, in the Bishopdale Community Centre, above the Bishopdale Library, Bishopdale Mall.
