Media Statement from Brian Nicolle

Monday 27 September

I visited John Banks at his home this morning to tell him that it was me who facilitated the distribution of the NBR article.

I apologized to the mayor and offered my resignation which he has accepted.

John Banks has always said that he campaigns openly and honestly.

He did not and would not ever approve this kind of activity.I have let him down.

I am no longer any part of the John Banks re-election campaign.

NO further comment will be made by me.
