Christian comedian back for another round!

You need to be able to laugh at life that's the message from Paul Aldrich, the American comedian on his way into town next week with his own (clean) brand of comedy.

"If we don't laugh at ourselves, others will do it for us," he says.

"If we can have a sense of humour, and not take ourselves too seriously, I think that is a healthy thing..."

World Vision is proudly partnering with the comedian, who hits Wellington next Friday night, September 1, with a show at the Lower Hutt AOG church.

At each of Aldrich's gigs, there will be opportunities to sponsor World Vision children, and the collaboration is something the comedian treasures.

"I'm so excited about the tour it's a win-win situation for me to support World Vision."

As for New Zealand audiences, Aldrich says he keeps coming back because of the "unique" nature of Kiwi crowds.

"I find the audiences very receptive ready to laugh, ready to have a good time and have a blast".

Which is what they're guaranteed to do when Paul Aldrich hits town, because it's not just the comedian they'll get to see. Acclaimed musician juliagrace will feature at each show, and the singer-songwriter, an avid supporter of the work of World Vision, is an added bonus that will ensure it's a night for all to enjoy.
