Urban Designers on the Stadium Question

News from The Big Idea –www.thebigidea.co.nz

The Stadium Question - Check out the online urban design forum and poll from New Zealand's leading thinkers on urban design and sustainability on www.thebigidea.co.nz

Some of the best commentary regarding the Stadium option in Auckland is happening on The Big Idea website www.thebigidea.co.nz

We have been concerned about the lack of a forum that included urban designers, architects and planners on this issue and also concerned that the discussion was not part of a larger waterfront development strategy.

Dushko Bogunovich Professor of Urban Design at Unitec’s School of Architecture has written an excellent discussion paper that outlines Four Critical Points for Success in regarding waterfront development regarding positioning, design, scale and environmental impact.

Check it out at here

Also you can vote in our poll on the homepage which has been going since last week and includes the Manukau Harbour option designed by Bossley Copeland Architects.
