Rape In Petone - Police Locate Te Huna And Fifth Suspect

Following an appeal to the public on Monday, Police in Lower Hutt have located Kereti TE HUNA and a fifth suspect in connection with the rape of an 18-year-old female in Petone late on Wednesday 7 March.

The rape occurred at the Housing New Zealand complex at the eastern end of Jackson Street, commonly known as the Jackson Street Flats.

Police would still like to hear from occupants of the Jackson Street Flats who have any information that might be relevant to their inquiries. People can contact the Lower Hutt Police on (04) 560 2600.

Detective Senior Sergeant Ross Levy thanks the media for their assistance in locating TE HUNA.
