A mysterious installation appears in the middle of Auckland CBD!
What the bloody hell is inside it?

An unexpected site caught the attention of people passing through Auckland’s CBD this morning. Nine locked shipping containers have mysteriously appeared in Queen Elizabeth Square at Lower Queen Street, Auckland. The question is … what’s inside it?

The containers arrived here in the middle of the night, are guarded by security and are believed to have originated from Australia.

New Zealanders are encouraged to nominate what’s inside these containers by visiting www.australia.com/thecontainer. Entrants to this promotion can win a trip for two to Tropical North Queensland staying at Voyages Silky Oaks Lodge.

The container will be officially opened on Tuesday, 4 September evening (6:15pm).
