Preliminary election results for Kapiti Coast Dist


Preliminary election results for Kapiti Coast District

The Kapiti Coast preliminary election results under STV for the Council and Community Boards and FTP for the Greater Wellington Regional Council are as follows.

Jenny Rowan of Paekakariki has been elected Mayor of the Kapiti Coast District.

Districtwide Councillors (5 required) are Peter Ellis, Anne Molineux, David Scott and Hilary Wooding.

Councillors for the individual wards are:

Otaki (1 required): Ann Chapman

Waikanae (1 required): Sandra Patton

Paraparaumu (2 required): Peter Daniel and Diane Ammundsen

Paekakariki-Raumati (1 required): Lyndy McIntyre

Community Boards:

Otaki (appointed – no election required): Andre Baker, James Cootes, Penny Gaylor and Don Moselen.

Waikanae: Sandra Patton, Eric Gregory, Michael Scott and Harold Thomas

Paraparaumu-Raumati: Dale Evans, Hilary Wooding, Louella Jensen and John Haxton

Paekakariki: Adrian Webster, Helen Keivom, Betty Perkins and Janet Holborow

Kapiti Coast Greater Wellington Regional Council representative: Nigel Wilson

These are preliminary results only. Special votes have yet to be counted and because some are elected as Councillors and Community Board members, there will be changes to the final membership of some boards.
